About
I’m Olga Poli, the founder of a paper art atelier based in the canton of Zug, Switzerland.
I was born in Russia, and today I live in Switzerland — a place that has become my second home and where my journey with paper began.
My path to creativity was not a straight line. Before founding my paper atelier, I built a career in finance spanning more than 20 years, progressing through different roles, with Chief Accountant and Chief Financial Officer among my most significant positions. It was a world of structure, precision and responsibility — but also, for me, a world of quiet beauty. From the very beginning, I was inspired by the logic of accounting: how separate figures create balance, how structure brings clarity, and how a complex system can become elegant when everything is in its place.
I carry this experience into my work with paper. Paper art may seem delicate and emotional, but behind every piece there is the same discipline: planning, proportion, accuracy, patience and the belief that every single detail matters. This background helps me not only imagine beauty, but also design, organise and bring it to life with care.
Today I combine many roles — wife, mother, entrepreneur and paper artist. Through my work, I want to transform the atmosphere of the spaces around us and bring beauty, elegance and warmth into people’s lives.
